The five o six tour series putter is in my bag and has been for a few months… I play competitively all over the place with the PEPSI TOUR, GOLFWEEK AM TOUR and MONDAY QUALIFIERS. I love the putter, the feel, the sound and the game face technology is amazing!! smoothest putter I have ever owned and the craftsmanship is like no other, the guys at RICKY JOHNSON are class act and very knowledgeable, I am more than sold and so is my trophy case with 6 amateur victories this season thus far!! Being a putter collector this purchase was a good and bad thing. Good being that this was a 100% handmade in the USA production, the bad being it rolls so darn good I don’t want to Use anything else. I have tried so many putters that consistently talk about feel and sound. But very few that truly focus getting the ball moving faster. This was a huge benefit for me and my game. Once adjusted to the roll speed, it will always be my go to!!

I’m a serious putter collector having more than 120 sticks including Ricky’s 506 tour series putter. My collection covers many different types of putters from different makers, countries, and eras.
If you are looking for a putter offering more forgiving, I strongly recommend you to try the others, not this 506 tour. BUT, if you have a certain level of putting skills and a certain amount of experience, I urge you should grab this one. 506 tour kicks out all of the other putters from my long gamer list.
It is a sensitive putter, as Ricky noted in the description, but gives me great feels, accurate distance control, and especially amazing rolling. Also, I constantly have the smallest hitting spots on impact labels when I roll 506 tour. Only three putters out of my collection are comparable to 506 tour in feeling, controlling, and rolling…. All three are made for a real PGA tour player, not simply “T” or “Tour” stamping. The first one is TPM made for a well-known PGA tour player and the second one is Bobby Grace also made for a PGA tour player and the last is a replica of Woosie’s Master Winning Putter hand-made by Tad Moore himself. 506 tour is a genuine tour-level putter IMHO. Ricky, thank you a lot!
